Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and driven Automation Engineer with expertise in MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and DeltaV to join our dynamic team based in Basel. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting project in Biopharma industry, providing impactful solutions that enhance operational efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement MES solutions, focusing on Emerson MES Syncade and DeltaV systems, to meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client needs and provide technical expertise in automation and control systems.
  • Configure and maintain DeltaV systems, ensuring seamless integration with MES platforms.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations and other industry standards in all project deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation systems, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Document system configurations, changes, and maintenance procedures.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients as needed.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in automation technologies.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with Emerson MES Syncade and DeltaV systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of GMP regulations and their application in automation projects.
  • Strong understanding of control systems and industrial automation.
  • Experience with system configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
