Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team in the Zürich region. The primary focus of this role will be on new client acquisition, specifically within the life sciences industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, with experience in consulting, EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management), or recruitment companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies for acquiring new clients within the life sciences sector in Switzerland
  • Identify and target potential clients through market research and networking
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the life sciences industry.
  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations of Amtera’s services and solutions to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring alignment with client needs and company goals.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to develop customized proposals and solutions for clients.
  • Monitor and report on sales activities, pipeline, and results, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to effectively position Amtera’s offerings.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, with a focus on acquiring new clients.
  • Background in consulting, EPCM, or recruitment companies is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the life sciences sector and its unique needs and challenges.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Fluent in German; French is a strong advantage.
  • Strong willingness to travel to client sites as required.
